I am loving sequins this season, and even more....art deco! So when I see both collide, I am a happy gal! I have been seeing the best skirts all over and it makes me want to go out and about and wear these skirts around!!
As some of you may know, I work for The Girls With Glasses Show. We recently did a friendsgiving episode. It was fun, fabulous, and of course it involved food!
I make a small appearance. Can you spot me? Haha! As you can tell, I am more behind of scenes type of gal, but when you involve food...I'm there! That's besides the point, I sure loving working with The Girls With Glasses. They are crafty, fun, and so stylish! They inspire me to use all my creative juices!

I am officially back. I actually came back last week to the states, but I'm ready for business this week if that makes any sense! Last week I was still recovering. I had no jetlag going to Europe, but coming home was the worst. My body didn't adjust, and I feel like it's finally coming back to my routine.
Anyhow, I hardly share any movies on this blog, but when I was flying back home, I saw the most adorable french film! It was made in 2012, but has such charm and is based in the late 1950's, and best of all...it's a romantic comedy!
It's called Populaire!
An insurance agent has to hire a secretary, and the secretary he hires has quick typing skills. He is so impressed that encourages her to enter typing competitions. He invites her to live in his home and coach her on how to become a better speed-typer and you can only imagine, sparks fly between them!
And not only is the film adorable, but the fashion is amazing!!!!
Here are a few of the movie posters so you can get an idea of the fashion in the film.
She definitely portrays a young girl who loves and is influenced by Audrey Hepburn!
And you immediately fall for the guy as well. He is kind, and so charming!
And her fun nails were so cute! Helped her memorized the keys on the typewriter!
Her outfit is so amazing! Love the dress and hat!!
If you haven't heard of this movie, I suggest it, especially if you love 50's fashion and french films!
And guess what??? It's available on netflix! I checked because I want to watch it again!! Let me know what you think.
L.A. Hasn't gotten the memo that it's fall yet and warm weather is still there sticking around. But in stores, is scarves season! And my suggestion, it's always a good idea to buy a cute scarf! Usually I use some to be more stylish, but warming you up is another option! Haha!
Being in a lot cooler weather these past couple weeks, scarves have been my life saver! I am actually more determined to buy more! These are on my to-buy list!
1. This red knit infinity one is awesome. A good one from eBay!
2. Polka dots! Jcrew's styling is getting more and more impressive to me!
3. Another infinity! But with more of a fun pattern. Target does it again. :)
4. Stunning scarf from Old Navy! Can you believe it? Soooo stylish, and I want it now!
So, have you been stocking up on your scarves? I sure have, and probably will be stocking up with more!
I didn't expect to love Scotland as much as I did. It was such an unexpected surprise. I wasn't sure what to expect, and I'm glad I had no expectations because it made the whole experience better. We were only there for a few days, but it was enough to explore the city of Edinburgh.
Here are a few highlights of our time there!
View from our apartment. The hills straight ahead is called Arthur's Seat.
Our dinner at 21212. The experience was amazing!
Scotch in Scotland, aye!
Touring Edinburgh castle.
Went for a walk and found this! Haha! (Excuse my squinting eyes)
Palace of Holyroodhouse. The queen's residence in Scotland.
Of my favorite experiences. The whole city of Edinburgh and Edinburgh Castle at a distance.
And of course, the water that surrounds Scotland, and our shadows.
The architecture is stunning!
And finally, my favorite companion to take these adventures with! Love him soooo much!
