apple picking

I'm craving for the cooler season, like so much! Where are you fall? Last year we went apple picking in late September, and it was great! It really made me get into the fall spirit, and it was so fun. We went apple picking, had apple cider, ate apple cider donuts, and all the apple things you can think of to eat...we ate them. So this year it's a must we go again! This time I'm going even more prepared! Here's a little outfit inspiration to go apple picking!

apple picking

Beatles tee
A tee is a must, especially since your outdoors the whole time. You want to be in something light and comfy.

Army green jacket
Weather at the farm can be unpredictable. Here in LA we can have the heat til October, but then we also have random weeks of cooler weather, so a jacket is a good idea to bring along.

Boyfriend jeans aren't usually my go-to jeans but for a day for apple picking, these are cute and appropriate. They aren't super tight and have a give for reaching into trees.

Keds sneaker
I don't recall what kind of shoes I wore last time, but since you're going from fields to farms, you want closed toe shoes and something that you can wear for a few hours and don't mind getting a little dirty.

red crossover bag
A crossover bag of some sort for me is a must in my opinion. Since you need both arms for apple picking, something that hangs on your body without worry is a good idea.

Apple earrings
If you want to get into the spirit of apple picking, wearing something in the theme could be fun. I personally would do something fun and simple like this cute earrings.

Some sunnies are a must, in LA even when we have cold weather, we still tend to get some sun. So keeping your eyes covered is always a good idea and always add style.

wool hat
A wool hat screams fall. So why not add a little sass to your outfit with a hat, and could even bring in some shade to your face,

 travel mug
I suggest brining a travel mug for coffee. Our apple picking place is a bit away from us, so being prepared with some coffee is a good idea, and you can even probably even refill at the farm with some hot apple cider!!

And if you're from LA and wonder where we go apple picking, its in Yucaipa. I know, it's a bit of drive but so fun to go to and away from the hustle and bustle of LA. It's a small area called Oak Glen. Check it out, and it will definitely make you feel like fall is around the corner!
